Severe T-Storm Watch Issued For Parts Of Hudson Valley
In addition to the thunderstorm watch, there is a heat advisory

It seems to be that time of year when there are daily thunderstorm watches. The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties which is in effect until 9 p.m.
There is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening which will be capable of producing very heavy rainfall.
That could lead to flooding of urban, low-lying and poor drainage areas.
