State Police Seek Additional Witnesses To Bank Robbery

WAPPINGER, NY — State police are asking for additional witnesses to a recent bank robbery. The law enforcement agency has released a surveillance photo of the suspect in question.

The Trustco Bank, located at 1490 Route 9 in the Town of Wappinger, was robbed around noon June 25.

The pictured suspect was dressed in all black, with a black umbrella and ski mask.

Police said he threatened to use an explosive device to gain access to the vault. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
