Storm Causes Closings, Delay In Hudson Valley

There are a few closings and a delay in the wake of the powerful nor'easter that tore through the Hudson Valley Wednesday into Thursday. Patch is reporting more than 16,000 area electrical customers without power this morning. Check back with Patch for updates.
- Cornwall schools: 2-hour delay
- Dutchess County BOCES: Beta site alternative high school closed due to power outage
- New York School for the Deaf: Closed due to power outage
- Peekskill schools: 2-hour delay at Woodside Elementary due to power outage.
