Team registration events set for Putnam Walk to End Alzheimer's

Register at Mahopac Chamber Park on concert night and enjoy free pizza and ice cream

Are you interested in participating in the Putnam Walk to End Alzheimer’s this October?

You can enjoy some music and refreshments while signing up at one of two team registration events set for Thursday, July 12, and Thursday, July 19, at Mahopac Chamber Park in Mahopac. There will be a Walk to End Alzheimer’s table in the park during the summer concerts where registrations can be made. Registrants will receive tickets they can redeem at Cacciatore Pizzeria for a slice of pizza or Uncle Louie G’s for a free ice cream cone.

“These team registration events are a great way to reach out into the community,” Walk Manager Venesa Marcellin said. “We are having them on the same nights as the local concert series in the park, so there will be music, ice cream and pizza. I think it will be a great way to bring attention to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event coming up on Oct. 21st at Putnam Veterans Memorial Park.”
