Threat At Poughkeepsie Middle School Received

School officials and police searched the building.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — City of Poughkeepsie police investigated a reported threat at Poughkeepsie Middle School Tuesday. Police said there was a report of a student possibly having a weapon during an after-school program at the school.

Police determined that no credible threat to students or staff existed, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.

The school was searched by school officials and police.
