Ulster Park Man Charged With Murdering Kingston Man

When police found the accused he was covered in blood.

KINGSTON, NY — An Ulster Park man who was covered in blood when police located him was charged with murdering Anthony Garro Jr. of Kingston. Garro’s body was found Wednesday morning beneath a bridge on Elmendorf Street along railroad tracks.

Seth P. Lyons, 20, of Ulster Park was charged with second-degree murder, the Daily Freeman said, and was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail. Garro was 49.

Police are trying to determine a motive for the killing and whether the two were acquaintances.
