Union Vale Crash Kills Motorcyclist
Police said the man crossed over into the oncoming lane and collided with a pickup truck.
UNION VALE, NY — An East Fishkill man died after the motorcycle he was driving crashed into a pickup truck Wednesday in the Town of Union Vale. State police said the incident happened around 10 a.m. on Chestnut Ridge Road.
The initial investigation found that Steven D. Ziskind, 22, of East Fishkill, was operating his 2016 Yamaha motorcycle north on Chestnut Ridge Road.
He entered the southbound lane, police said, and collided with a southbound 2006 Lincoln Mark LT.

Northern Dutchess Paramedics rendered medical aid. Ziskind was taken to Sharon Hospital in Connecticut where he died of his injuries.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
