From Warmth To Winter Weather Advisory, Hazardous Outlook
There is also a Hazardous Weather Outlook for much of the mid-Hudson Valley.

WOODSTOCK, NY — Parts of the mid-Hudson Valley are under a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday. The advisory is for western Greene and western Ulster counties.
The National Weather Service said that snow, sleet and freezing rain is expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are forecast. There could also be a tenth of an inch of ice.
Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning and evening commutes Thursday.

Snowfall rates up to a half inch an hour are possible. Be prepared for reduced visibility at times.
A Hazardous Weather Outlook is in effect for Friday through Sunday for Columbia, Dutchess, Greene and Ulster counties, the NWS said.

A wintry mix of precipitation, including a chance of freezing rain, is possible Friday morning into Friday night and again Saturday night into Sunday morning especially across the higher terrain.
The weather service could issue a Winter Weather Advisory if the possibility of freezing rain continues.
