Woman Stabs Victim With A Steak Knife During Domestic Dispute: Police
Police were called to a hospital emergency room to investigate.

CHATHAM, NY — A Columbia county woman was arrested after a domestic dispute escalated to stabbing with a steak knife.
State Police said Erin L. Cmuchowski, 23, of Chatham was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Troopers were sent to the emergency room at Columbia Memorial Hospital March 1 to investigate an assault.

Police said Cuchowski stabbed someone with a steak knife in a Village of Chatham home after a domestic dispute.
The victim was treated for two puncture wounds and released.

Cmuchowski was arraigned and sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond.
She is scheduled to return to Chatham Court March 7.
