Donald Trump Visits NYC For United Nations General Assembly: Report
President Donald Trump arrived in New York City on Sunday and stay in Midtown's Trump Tower for four nights.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — President Donald Trump returned to New York City for the United Nations General Assembly and will make his longest stay in the city since he was sworn in as the nation's 45th President, according to reports.
Trump arrived in New York City on Sunday afternoon and will stay at Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue between East 56th and 57th streets for four nights, Politico reported. A draft schedule of the president's travel plans was sent to the NYPD and acquired by Politico.
The NYPD did not immediately respond to Patch's inquiry for details on the president's visit.

Trump will sleep at his gilded, three-story penthouse, but most of his time will be spent at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel on Madison Avenue between East 50th and 51st streets, Politico reported. The hotel will host the U.S. State Department for the duration of the United Nations General Assembly and Trump will conduct bilateral meetings with other foreign leaders at the hotel, Politico reported.

The president most recently visited New York City for a weekend in August. It was during his last visit that Trump notably proclaimed that "both sides" — white supremacists and neo-Nazis on the right and their opponents on the left — were to blame for violence committed during a deadly white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Thousands of protesters gathered near Trump Tower during both night's of Trump's last stay in his hometown.
Trump also visited the city for a brief appearance at the USS Intrepid in May, but did not stay the night.
During Trump's visit Midtown Manhattan will likely be once-again overrun by copious Secret Service and NYPD security around Trump Tower. The NYPD estimates that it costs about around $308,000 per day to protect Trump while at Trump Tower — located on Fifth Avenue between East 56th and 57th streets.
The city spent an estimated $24 million to protect Trump Tower from Election Day through Inauguration Day, police commissioner James O'Neill wrote in a February letter to Congress.
