Frank Harrison explains how you can spot the early signs of anxiety.

To be anxious is to be human. In other words, everyone suffers from anxiety in some way, shape or form. Unfortunately, for millions of people around the world, anxiety is much more than a “normal stressor.” Anxiety is, for many people, a crippling condition. Common symptoms of anxiety include fatigue, excessive worrying and an ability to sleep. These symptoms are exacerbated for those suffering from chronic anxiety. Probably the worst symptom of anxiety is the panic attack. Panic attacks can completely debilitate a person, due to the overwhelming sense of fear.


The symptoms are commonplace, but what is a bit more unique are the signs of anxiety that people usually don’t notice. I wanted to take a moment to highlight a few of them so that you can take a step back, analyze your personal experiences, and determine if you suffer from anxiety.

Have you ever gone through your day having felt the need to do a million different things, only to realize that you’ve completed nothing? If the answer is yes, you may suffer from anxiety. Two common manifestations of anxiety are poor time management and low productivity. The ability to prioritize your day can also be drastically affected by anxiety. If you seem to end your day with a small amount of work completed, you may want to visit a doctor for a concrete diagnosis.
