Don't be alarmed by the sound of a low-flying chopper over Midtown and Downtown Manhattan Thursday morning, the NYPD said.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Don't be alarmed by the sound of a low-flying chopper Thursday morning: it's a helicopter conducting a photography project, according to the NYPD.
The grey Bell 206L3 helicopter will fly from about 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. over Midtown and Downtown Manhattan, at a height of about 2,000 feet.
For reference, that's about 550 feet above the spire of the Empire State Building, and 224 feet above the tip of One World Trade Center's spire.
