MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK — The New York skyline has become slightly altered in the Midtown area. If you have not made yourself aware of what is currently New York’s billion dollar project, it’s time to look up to see what’s going on on the West Side. Skyscrapers have begun to popup along the Hudson as Manhattan’s newest project, Hudson Yards, is being developed. The developing real estate is not the only reason there is excitement about this new neighborhood, the $374 million park expansion also has everyone buzzing. No longer is Hudson Yards just a stretch of land, but instead it is the future of Manhattan.

This new neighborhood does not come cheap. Business Insider recently released an article on Hudson Yards stating that, “At $25 billion, Hudson Yards is the most expensive real-estate development in US history”. Two of the most exciting real estate listings are 30 Hudson Yards and 15 Hudson Yards. Real estate agent Steve Gold, from Million Dollar Listing New York, has added to the excitement of 15 Hudson Yards by posting a view from of the penthouse to his 234k followers.

Real Estate aside, there’s much more to Hudson Yards than what meets the eye. Not only is this development the most expensive in United States History, but the park expansion is set to make New York records. Crain’s New York reports that the work going into the park is set to cost $374 million, “at more than $124 million per acre, that would make the extension the costliest park project in local history”. A virtual tour of the future park is posted on the Hudson Yards’ website. This is where individuals can see what is coming for the future.
