Man Arrested Following Fatal Stabbing In Manhattan, Police Say
The man was attacked outside of a homeless drop-in center in Hell's Kitchen.
HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — Police have arrested a suspect after a fatal stabbing left one man dead and another injured in Hell’s Kitchen last week, New York City Police Department officials said Friday.
Officers responding to a 911 call at 4:47 a.m. on April 23 found two men with multiple stab wounds to their torsos outside the Urban Pathways Drop-in Center on Ninth Avenue between West 51st and West 52nd streets, police said.
Both victims were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where one man was pronounced dead. The second victim, 34, is listed in stable condition.

The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Rene Flores.
On Friday, 35-year-old Kareem Ruddock was arrested at 2:20 p.m. and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
