Suspect Sought In Fatal Midtown Shooting, Police Say
Police are searching for a suspect after a homeless man was shot to death in broad daylight in Manhattan.

MIDTOWN, NY — After a homeless man was shot to death at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Midtown, New York City Police Department officials have released a photo of the suspect, as well as the victim's identity.
According to the NYPD, the shooting happened at 589 Eighth Ave., near West 39th Street, on the morning of Feb. 12, police said.
When police arrived, they found 43-year-old Mark Jackson with a gunshot wound in the neck, officials said. Jackson was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police said the suspect was last seen entering the 50th Street subway station and fleeing on a northbound C train. Police have released photos of the suspect taken by surveillance cameras and are asking the public for help identifying him.
No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
