Suspect Sought Who Shoved Man Onto Midtown Subway Tracks: NYPD
Police are searching for a man seen on surveillance footage randomly shoving another man onto the subway tracks at Columbus Circle.
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Police appealed to the public over the weekend for help identifying a man accused of shoving another man onto the tracks at a Midtown subway station in an unprovoked attack last month.
Around 5:36 a.m. on Sept. 24, police said the victim, a 30-year-old man, was waiting for a train on the southbound A platform at the 59th Street–Columbus Circle station.
An unknown man then walked up to the victim and pushed him onto the tracks before fleeing the station, police said. No words were exchanged between the two men before the attack.

Paramedics brought the victim to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was treated for scratches on his right arm and pain in his right leg and rib cage.
Police released surveillance footage showing the man shove the victim and beginning to walk away.
