Traffic Cop Shoved To Ground In Hell's Kitchen: Police

Police are looking for a man accused of shoving an NYPD traffic agent to the ground in Hell's Kitchen when she tried to write him a ticket.

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — A man shoved an NYPD traffic cop to the ground in Hell's Kitchen on Wednesday when she tried to write him a ticket, according to police.

Around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday near the corner of 10th Avenue and 49th Street, the unidentified man pushed the 63-year-old female traffic enforcement agent to the ground as she attempted to write him a summons for being parked illegally, police said.

The man fled in a gray Cadillac SUV with Pennsylvania plates, police said. The agent was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital with a lower back injury.

Police described the suspect as a light-skinned male in his mid 20s, last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, black pants, black and white sneakers and a white PUMA hat.
