1 Taken To Hospital After Fire Breaks Out In Rocky Point: PD
The person was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation on Sunday, Suffolk police said.
ROCKY POINT, NY — One person was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a home in Rocky Point on Sunday night, Suffolk County police said.
Police said officers responded to a fire near the intersection of Prince Road and Broadway at about 5:40 p.m. No other injuries were reported, police said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Arson Squad, a standard procedure, according to police. No further details were immediately released by the police.
