In a world of Twittered good mornings, and Facebook good nights, what is a Rocky Point family to do when their power goes out?
My husband and I ate snacks. Took a few walks. Took some pictures. Talked. Read(while it was light). And then sat outside gazing at the beautiful, after storm, night sky.
While of course a storm like this is not something most of us look forward to, I must admit, it was nice to slow down a bit. Talk about my breakfast, rather than type about it. Say hello to my neighbors, and not just wave. Sit and think, rather than do.

But, I can't say I was sad this morning when I saw the green light on the power cord attached to my computer blinking. I wanted to know how my friends weathered the storm. And, though I do feel a little embarrassed to admit it, I was curious as to what they ate for breakfast.
How did your family spend your time unconnected to the World Wide Web? Did you miss it?
