Have We Met?
Love isn't easy. And heartbreak is just hard. Lucky for me, every step of the way, I have my writing. And now, so do you.
I've been writing poetry for as long as I can remember. But it was never any good. I was no Emily Dickinson, I wasn't deep like Robert Frost. I just wrote. For me. And no one ever saw it. Usually about love, in one way or another. A year ago I decided to write a poem a day for a year and I started a blog dedicated to my project. It was the best thing I ever did. I write poems for people who don't like poetry.
Somewhere between watching Sex and the City and listening to Taylor Swift I realized I had something to say. Something people could relate to. Maybe I could even help people feel less alone.
So these are my moments, my feelings, and my journey. Sometimes love conquers all, and when it doesn't, it sure makes a great poem.
