Miller Place Teachers Association: Where's the Beef?

The MPTA has placed an ad in The Village Beacon Record that takes a public shot at the Miller Place Board of Education while at the same time offering no details to support their claims that the BOE will not negotiate.

I have always thought that these negotiations were confidential so I was quite surprised to see this ad.

In the interest of fair play, the MPTA should publicly provide the details to support their claims. The Board of Education should do likewise.

After all, don't we teach our children when they write their papers that all statements must be followed by supporting details?

I will gladly offer up this blog space for either party to present their case.
