It's summer and like most parents I am in the midst of trying to figure out what do for the kids over the summer.
One wrinkle- I have a child with Autism. Well that makes it a little more difficult, until today. I spent some time looking into the usual things, private swimming lessons, special needs camps, private peer or social groups the list goes on and on while I mentally watch hundreds of dollars float out of my wallet.
Then I found THEM. The Land and Sea Sports Club, with facilities in Sayville who offer: swimming lessons, sailing lessons, Karate, Yoga and family activities that would take me all summer just to sign up for. The best part-$35 per year per family. All activities are geared toward children with Autism and developmental disabilities, my search is over www.landandseasportsclub.org.
