Swab to Save a Life

Tomorrow my good friend Dona comes home from the hospital, 22 days after a total stranger gave her the ultimate gift, the gift of a life-saving Bone Marrow Transplant.

We are asking for you to help Dona pay it forward, by "getting swabbed" you will be placed on the National Bone Marrow Registry and have that one in a million chance to save another persons life.

On Sunday September 23 we will team up with DKMS, Matt Liamstrong Maguire, friends and family to hold a Bone Marrow drive at the Rocky Point Fire Dept on Rt 25A in Shoreham. This drive is in honor and support of Gabby, an 18 month old baby girl who is waiting for that 1-in-a-million donor. 

Anyone 18-55 in good health weighing at least 110 pounds can take the 15 minutes to register.
