Brookhaven Highway Dept.

I am writing with a request that the residents start a writing campaign to Brookhaven Highway Dept. We have been waiting for 2-3 yrs, to get this road repaved to no avail. Last year I rec'd a response note from Mr. Losquadro that his Supervisor would check out the road and determine if it needed any repair. Well, the road was in it's worst phase and yet NOTHING was done. We the residents who must travel this road many times a day know full well this road is so bad a baby in a car seat couldn't sleep thru one trip down the road much less a trip up the road. We need every resident who travels this road to write a request to the Highway Dept. to please put a repaving order on the agenda for this year. The intersection of Sam's path and Merritt is worse then riding a roller coaster. You have to come to a rolling 5miles an hour just to get past the rocking and rolling. We don't want patches, that's what caused the problems. We need a total repaving from beginning to end. Please residents you know what I'm talking about, put your frustration to e-mails and send to Highway@brookhaven.org Maybe if we all complain and let our Supervisor know how unhappy we are with this problem something might get done.
