- Two Centereach brothers were arrested for robbing a Lake Grove gas station on Thursday night. Matthew and William Tait, 26 and 27, entered QuickChek, at 2686 Middle Country Road, around 11:35 p.m., and displayed a handgun. (Patch)
- A Suffolk jury found a man guilty of shooting his 17-year-old brother to death outside of a relative's home in Coram two years ago. Dimitri Robert, 27, shot his brother, Devontay Robert, angry at his mother over the loss of custody of his five children. (Patch)
- A Riverhead business was among the first in New York to get an adult-use cannabis cultivator license. Plant Connection on Sound Avenue was one of 52 applicants to have conditional licenses granted. (RiverheadLOCAL)
