Crimes Nearby: North Fork Burglar Arrested in Struggle
Suffolk County police reported the following arrests between Sept. 29- Oct. 10

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County, Southold Town and Riverhead Police Departments. It does not indicate a conviction.
Three Village
Three people were arrested Sept. 30 in separate incidents on Nicolls Road.
James Pancaldo, 21, of South Setauket, was arrested Sept. 30 in Stony Brook and charged with DWI. According to police, Pancaldo was observed driving a 1993 Jeep southbound on Nicolls Rd. and was arrested at 2:37 a.m.

Carlos Carcamo, 26, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Sept. 30 on Nicolls Rd. in Stony Brook and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. According to police, Carcamo had more than three license suspensions.
Victoria Lissaris, 21, of Centereach, was arrested Sept. 30 in Stony Brook and charged with DWI. According to police, Lissaris was observed driving southbound on Nicolls Rd. and was arrested at 2:44 a.m.
Port Jefferson
Robin Payne, Jr., 26, of Hampton Bays was arrested Sept. 29 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with obscene language and gestures. Payne was arrested for allegedly yelling and cursing in front of 7-Eleven located on Route 112 for no apparent reason.
Harvey C. Robinson, Jr., 68, of Port Jefferson was arrested Sept. 29 in Patchogue and charged with fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property. Robinson allegedly stole a watch and attempted to pawn

North Fork
Jason Capazzola, 36, of Mattituck was charged with burglary, resisting arrest and harassment on Monday at 1:51 p.m., after a Southold Town Police officer chased him down as he was fleeing the scene of an alleged burglary at a Route 25 Southold residence, police said.
Police were called to the scene after Capazzola was discovered within the residence. Capazzola attempted to flee after the first officer arrived. A struggle ensued after the officer caught up with the suspect, who stole money from the residence, an investigation revealed.
Southold Town Police arrested a Long Island City man who is wanted for murder in his native South Korea after bay constables found him illegally fishing off of Clark's Beach in Greenport on Sunday at 11:35 a.m., police said.
Byungsoo Kim, 57, was charged with dumping finfish after police saw him fishing on the beach and then dumping the fish back into the sound, disregarding instructions from bay constables not to throw the fish he had caught back into the water, police said. As constables issued a summons, Kim fled the scene. Further investigation revealed that Kim is wanted by the International Criminal Police Organization for murder in his native country, police said.
Kim was found by the Southold Town Police K-9 Unit with the assistance of the Suffolk County Police Aviation Unit. He was arrested on the conservation violation and held for the International Criminal Police Organization.
Riverhead
Carl Ligon, 34, of Calverton was arrested on Oct. 6 on County Road 94 in Riverhead and charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, a misdemeanor. Police said Ligon was sitting in the passenger seat of a car that police stopped for a traffic violation when he refused to cooperate in the investigation. He resisted arrest, and police used pepper spray to apprehend him, according to a police report.
Douglas Masterson, 48, of St. Petersburg, Fla. was arrested on Monday, Oct. 3 at 12:35 a.m. at the corner of Pine Street and Old Quogue Road in Riverside and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said they saw Masterson shut off his car lights, pull over on to the side of the road and onto the grass when they investigated and discovered he appeared intoxicated.
More valuable items were reported stolen from in Flanders, just a week after allegedly took place, according to Southampton Town Police reports. A Riverhead man told police that sometime between Sep. 26 and Oct. 1 someone used a bolt cutter to clip the lock off of his trailer, located at Peconic Mini Storage, and took a $700 chop saw, $350 table saw and $180 drill, according to a police report. Police said the missing tools have the man’s initials labeled on them.
The owner of Sam’s Taxi also told police that sometime between Sept. 17 and Sept. 21, someone broke into his space at Peconic Mini Storage and broke windows of three of the taxis he stores there, police said. Three Garmin GPS's and car batteries were missing and a cable in one of the cars was also broken when the batteries were removed, according to the report.
