Honoring Wading River Firefighters

WADING RIVER, NY – On Saturday, April 6, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker joined the Wading River Fire Department at its annual Installation Dinner at East Wind in Wading River. The celebration included honoring local firefighters for their years of service, inducting the new department officers, and presentations by government officials and community leaders.

“Our firefighters commit themselves to making sure our communities have the resources they need in the event of an emergency,” said Legislator Anker. “It is an honor to join the Wading River Fire Department in recognizing the outstanding individuals who ensure our safety.”

Those honored included: Kevin McQueeney, Glenn Erick, Daniel Zaveski, Eric Cohen, Robert Quaranta, Anthony VanBommel, Kevin Berg, John Mashmann, Brendan Stasiukiewicz, Cole Stasiukiewicz, William Savage, Stephen Martin, Sabrina Santiago, Thomas Whelan, Joanne Peters, and Donald Enlund.
