How Much is Too Much for Gas?

Gas prices are well up over $4 per gallon now, but are also finally dropping for the first time in months.

Even so, prices are still high and for years have gone through heavy increases with no end in sight, so how much is too much for gas prices?

Are you willing to pay any price since you are so reliant on gas, or is there a number that will put you over the edge and have you looking for alternatives? What is that price, and have we passed it already?
