From Shoreham-Wading River Central School District: Shoreham-Wading River High School students are deploying their creativity and innovative skills using some advanced technology located in the new makerspace in the school library.
During their free periods, students are able to visit the space to engage in hands-on projects — from creating and designing inventions to using a new 3-D printer. With the help of librarian Kristine Hanson, students are able to utilize Tinkercad, an online design tool, to create original and expressive ideas and then bring them to life.
