Rocky Point High School's Virtual Enterprise class took part in the LIU Entrepreneurship and Leadership Conference held at LIU Post.
MILLER PLACE-ROCKY POINT, NY - From Rocky Point School District: Rocky Point High School’s Virtual Enterprise class recently took part in the LIU Entrepreneurship and Leadership Conference held at LIU Post.
During this conference students delivered an elevator pitch for their VE company, network with and hear from industry experts, and participate in informative breakout sessions.
One highlight from the conference was keynote speaker Al Kahn, CEO of CraneKahn LLC, and a leading figure in the licensing industry. Students learned about how he grew his licensing empire to include some of the biggest names in the industry, including Cabbage Patch Kids, Pokemon, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja
