Legislator Anker Joins Ridge Fire Dept. For Memorial Day Service

Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker joined the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department at its Memorial Day Service and Parade.

RIDGE, NY – On Saturday, May 18th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker joined the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, civic members, elected officials, and community members at the Ridge Fire Department’s Memorial Day Service. The memorial service honored the servicemen and women who have lost their lives to protect our freedom.

“It is essential that we remember and honor those who died for our freedom, and continue to support and thank those who are presently serving in our armed forces,” said Legislator Anker. “I would like to thank the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department and the Ridge community for coming together on such an important holiday.”
