The world of beer is vast and in it are hundreds of different styles. At RPAB (Rocky Point Artisan Brewers) we enjoy making all kinds of beer and we make different beers which match the seasons. This last week we released another batch of our Maibock, a German-style lager that is traditionally consumed in honor of the month of May and corresponds with a celebration of the coming of Spring. Our Maibock is a golden, malty lager with a crisp fresh flavor. We used "noble" hops to provide a natural spiciness. If you'd like to try this beer it's on tap at DEKS in Rocky Point, Hoptron Brewtique in Patchogue, and Tap & Barrel in Smithtown. You'll also find it on growler fill stations at fine beer stores.
