Man Convicted Of Murder In 'Execution-Style' Killing: Suffolk DA
A man was found with gunshot wounds in his head and thigh last year, the DA says. The man who killed him had been out on bail, the DA says.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — A Rocky Point man was found guilty of fatally shooting a Centereach man, "execution-style," in January 2022 who was reported missing, Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney announced Monday.
Glenn Seejattan, 30, was convicted of second-degree murder in connection with the death of Justin Lee, 34. Seejattan faces 25 years to life in prison at his April 26 scheduled sentencing.
"This was a senseless killing of a human being whose loved ones reported him missing with the expectation of seeing him again one day," Tierney said. "While there is nothing that will bring back the victim to his family, we are satisfied that we were able to find his killer, hold him accountable, especially now that a jury has found him guilty of his crimes."

Lee's family reported him missing on Jan. 18, 2022, after he had last been seen alive at Seejattan’s mother’s home in Rocky Point, where Seejattan also lived, the DA said. Lee was found 10 days later on Jan. 28, 2022, his body half-naked and frozen, about a half mile away from Seejattan's home, authorities said.
Lee had gunshot wounds in his head and thigh, an autopsy revealed, officials said.

Witness testimony, electronic surveillance and DNA evidence led to Seejattan's conviction, investigators said. Damaged wood moldings were found within 20 feet of Lee's body, and similar damage was found in Seejattan's home, prosecutors said.
Forensically-tested items, including a wall in Seejattan's home, matched Lee's DNA and blood, the DA said.
A witness testified that Seejattan admitted that he had shot and killed somebody in a house on Mahogany Road, which he described as a drug deal gone bad, authorities said. Seejattan admitted he shot the victim in the head, took his clothes off, wrapped him up in a blanket, and took him to the woods, prosecutors said. He also said he did not regret committing the murder — only that he did it in the house, officials said. Seejattan was charged in March 2022.
In addition to the murder charge, Seejattan was also convicted of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon (a class C felony).
He is being represented by Charles Hochbaum.
Seejattan killed Lee while released on bail, the DA said, for a separate indictment where he was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon (a Class C felony), third-degree criminal possession of a weapon (a Class D violent felony), and criminal possession of a firearm (a Class E felony). On that case, which is pending, Seejattan is being represented by Danielle Papa.
