New School Board Member Appointed in Rocky Point

From Rocky Point Schools: Rocky Point School District’s Board of Education has appointed Scott Reh to fill the trustee seat vacated by Joseph Coniglione earlier this school year. Mr. Reh, who was officially sworn in during the board’s Jan. 14 meeting, will serve in this role until the conclusion of the trustee election to be conducted at the next annual meeting, which is scheduled to take place on May 21, 2019. At which time, the trustee elected as a result of community vote will be sworn in.

Mr. Reh is a familiar face on the board of education, as he served as a trustee for eight years up until June 2018. Four year of this service, Mr. Reh was elected to serve as the board’s vice president.
