A Parade of Literary Treasures
Frank J. Carasiti Elementary students in grades K-2 recently took part in one of the school's most treasured events the Harvest parade.
From Rocky Point Schools:Rocky Point’s Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School students in grades K-2 recently took part in one of the school’s most treasured events the annual Harvest Day Parade.
During this memorable event, each student, dressed as his or her favorite storybook character, marched around the high school track to the cheers of parents and onlookers. Among the favorites portrayed were Alice in Wonderland, the Cat in the Hat, Harry Potter, Charlie Brown and Pete the Cat.
The Rocky Point High School marching band was also on hand to perform some popular tunes for the students and their adoring fans.
