Police Seek Man Who Stole Money From College Vending Machines

Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole cash from vending machines last month.

According to police, the man pictured above used a key to open a vending machine at Suffolk County Community College’s Ammerman Campus, located at 533 College Road in Selden, on May 6 at about 3:25 p.m. Several days later, police say the same man used a key to open a vending machine at Suffolk’s Michael J. Grant Campus, located at 1001 Crooked Hill Road in Brentwood, on May 11 at about 1:10 p.m. The man stole cash from both machines, police say.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
