Remembering Our Heroes on Memorial Day With Sound Beach

SOUND BEACH, NY – On Monday, May 27th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker attended the Sound Beach Memorial Day Services at the Sound Beach Veterans Memorial Park. The service included prayer, a wreath presentation ceremony, and music provided by Miller Place high school students.

“I commend the local community for its commitment to memorializing our fallen heroes. We owe so much to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country,” said Legislator Anker. “Thank you to the Sound Beach Civic Association and the community leaders and groups who work hard to host these peaceful and commemorative events every year.”
