Rocky Point Heads Back To School

When students in the Rocky Point School District returned to school on Sept. 5, they were all smiles and eager to begin the 2017-2018 school year.

For the members of Rocky Point High School’s senior class this school year marks the end of their educational journey in the district while for the kindergarten students at F.J. Carasiti Elementary School it was the first of many new beginnings. The district’s youngest scholars were eased into their roles as students by attending a truncated schedule the first week, which consisted of several half-days.

The year ahead is sure to be filled with many exciting and educationally enriching learning experiences for all district students.
