Having a brother with Aspergers, I am a strong advocate for him and wish to be for the entire special needs community. As the owner of Studio E Art Classes in Miller Place, I am focused on creating a community based around special needs classes for adults and children. Our Wednesday Special Needs Adult Painting class is going strong and we always invite new students to join our eclectic, high spirited group! Class meets every wednesday from 4-5:30pm and new students can join any week. The price is $130 for eight classes and you can register by calling 631-744-4001.
On Friday, July 12th from 3pm-4:30 we will host a special needs Ceramic Hand-Building workshop. The cost is $20 is pre-registration is required. Instructor, Michael Korol, is an established potter who has an exceptional rapport with our special needs students.
