I find the new layout very much lacking if not terrible. It is very hard to see the content at first glance and the pastel color scheme very dull. I liked the compact style and bright color of previous Patch as it was much more inviting. Creating a blog is very tedious. It seems that not all Patch papers adopted the new layout. Follow the rule "don't fix it if it isn't broken". I am sure that you will see a drop in the number of blogs and hence the number of "visitors" to your pages. Go back to the old layout!
