19-Year-Old Driver Crashes Into East Hills Home: Police

NCPD says the driver suffers minor injuries; the house was deemed structurally unsafe.

EAST HILLS, NY — A car struck an East Hills home on Monday afternoon, and the driver suffered minor injuries, police said.

Nassau County police said a 19-year-old male driving a 2024 white Jeep Wrangler northbound on Beechwood Road struck a home at 3:37 p.m. on March 23.

The driver was transported to a nearby hospital, police said. No one was home at the time of the incident, and no other injuries were reported, police said.

The Roslyn Building Department responded to the scene to evaluate the home, deeming it structurally unsafe, and Nassau County Emergency Service Unit removed the car, NCPD said.
