  1. A car crash in New Hyde Park Tuesday night left two people in critical condition, according to police. A 32-year-old male was driving a 2015 Subaru with a 32-year-old female passenger on New Hyde Park Road when it collided with a 2018 Range Rover driven by a 25-year-old male, who suffered minor injuries. No charges have been filed as of yet. (News12 Long Island)
  2. The 7-year-old girl shot in the arm in Hempstead on Saturday is home from the hospital and recovering, but she and her family are traumatized. The shooting occurred outside their home on Evans Avenue while the girl was playing in her backyard, according to her grandmother, Patricia Murphy. Police are still searching for the shooter and the reason for the gunfire. (abc7NY)
  3. Adelphi University in Garden City held its annual fundraising event known as Giving Day on March 23 and raised a record-breaking $503,218, which is a 78 percent increase over last year.
