4 Mineola High School Kids Earn State's Highest Music Honor
The high school music phenoms were chosen among 6,000 across the state to participate in the annual All-State Music Festival.

MINEOLA, NY —Four high school music phenoms from Mineola were among 800 students across the state chosen to participate in the annual All-State Music Festival, the highest honor a school musician can achieve.
The Mineola High School students will perform in Rochester, New York, from Dec. 5-8, the district said in a news release. The annual festival is sponsored by the New York State School Music Association.
Juniors Deborah DosSantos and Ana Victoria Serna, as well as senior Rebecca Tobar, were chosen. To qualify, they had to demonstrate proficiency at auditions in May. Senior Natalie Rivera was chosen as an alternate for chorus.
