4 Teens Broke Window of Westbury Store to Steal Hoverboards: Police
Two of the older teens were arrested and charged with burglary.

Four teens were arrested Friday morning after police said they burglarized a sneaker store and stole three hoverboards in Westbury.
According to police, officers on routine patrol saw the boys running northbound on Grand Boulevard and when asked to stop running, the teens disregarded all verbal commands and continued to run away at 2:14 a.m.
Officers were able to apprehend the four boys, ages 18, 17, 14 and 15, and an investigation revealed they broke the front window to Worthy NYC, located at 821 Prospect Ave., and stole three hoverboards, police said.

The hoverboards were found in a rear yard on Grand Boulevard.
Daniel Green, 18, of Wyandanch, and Shawn Harvey, 17, of Hempstead, were charged with third degree burglary and third degree criminal mischief. They will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.

The juveniles, ages 14 and 15, were custodialized and will appear in Nassau County Family Court in Westbury at a later date.
