
Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Greenvale bank Wednesday morning.
According to authorities, a masked man entered Chase Bank, located at 57 Northern Boulevard, displayed a silver handgun and demanded money from a teller at 9:15 a.m.
The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot through the north side exit doors in an unknown direction, police said.

Six employees and two customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
Police described the robber as black or Hispanic, 5 foot 6 inches tall with a thin build, and wearing a dark hooded shirt, dark pants, gloves and a mask.
