Bites Nearby: Steve’s Piccola Bussola
Family style Italian at this popular restaurant in Westbury.
When the family gets together and no one feels like cooking, our fingers inevitably turn to dialing out for Italian. We all have our favorites so the menu is invariably linguine filetto, chicken campagnola, shrimp oreganata, penne with broccoli (for our vegetarian) and combination salad.
Steve’s Piccola Bussola – all orders at Steve’s Piccola Bussola are served family style and the portions are large. A full selection of tri-colored salad, red snapper Livornese and spaghetti with clam sauce was enough for four hungry people.
The salad was fresh and crisp, the snapped Livornese is packed with olives and capers with plenty of chopped clams and garlic in the clam sauce.
