Register for the 5:30pm, or 7:00pm Live Bug Show where participants will meet incredible insects up close and learn what makes them so amazing, plus a hands-on Bug Station for further exploration and discovery.
Kindly note, when purchasing a ticket, you will only be permitted to attend one of the scheduled Bug Shows. You will be granted access to the other featured activities throughout the timeframe surrounding each show. Please plan your visit accordingly.

This event is part of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.oldwestburygardens.org/regency-romance-weekend-2/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Regency Romance Weekend</a>.
Explore your creativity in this hands-on adult education program with our Education Manager! Participants will use a sketch pad, pencil, watercolor set, and brush provided during class while learning techniques for sketching from observation. At the end, take home your finished artwork to display—supplies are for use during class only.
This is a rain or shine program. In the event of rain, class will be held at The Barn at Orchard Hill or inside the Thatched Cottage where participants will paint a floral still life.

Join us for an enchanting evening of chamber music as Old Westbury Gardens and Poetica Musica present The Enchantment of Strings on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 8 pm in the intimate and elegant Red Ballroom. The Poetica Musica Quartet will perform a captivating program featuring works by Ravel, Mendelssohn, and Dvořák.
The ensemble includes Eric Wyrick, violin; Eugene Moye, cello; and guest artists Janey Choi, violin; and Michael Roth, viola.
The program features String Quartet No. 12 in F Major, Op. 96 (“American”) by Antonín Dvořák; String Quartet in F Major, M.35 by Maurice Ravel; and String Quartet No. 1 in E-flat Major, Op. 12 by Felix Mendelssohn.

Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects® Made with LEGO® Bricks Coming in May!

Join us for an adult-only, brick-building experience using official LEGO® sets. Begin your evening with a guided tour of Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects®, an exhibit made with LEGO® bricks, from 6:30–7:30pm.&nbsp; After the tour, build your own LEGO Botanical Daisies Kit at the Barn at Orchard Hill while enjoying refreshments.&nbsp;
Each guest will receive one drink ticket redeemable for a glass of beer or wine, with additional drinks available for purchase onsite. All participants take their LEGO kit home at the end of the program. Please arrive 15 minutes early to the Barn at Orchard Hill to check in before the tour.

Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. Our staff offers a wide range of social and employment services, including: • Development of a personalized self-sufficiency plan • Case management and referrals • Employment services, job search skills, and work experience opportunities • Outreach and community support • Social and cultural adjustment assistance • English language support • Help with school, benefits, and local resource navigation • Transitional services and employment retention support We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024.
