Cops: Handicap Permit Stolen from Cars

Handicap permits were targeted in car break-ins last week, reported Nassau County Police.

Two permits were stolen from parked cars , including one in North Massapequa on April 17, cops reported.

• April 17: Westwood Drive, Westbury; items stolen from parked car.
• April 17: North Idaho Avenue, North Massapequa; handicap permit stolen from parked car.
• April 18: Wilson Park, Mineola; items stolen from car.
• April 19: Tully Park, North New Hyde Park; passenger side window broken, items stolen from car.
• April 19: Elmont Road Park, Elmont; passenger side window broken, items stolen.
• April 22: American Legion, Syosset; items stolen from unlocked car.
• April 23: City Cellar, Westbury; car door pried open, items stolen.
• April 23: Fieldstone Drive, Syosset; items stolen from parked car.
