Cops: Man Robbed Bank in North New Hyde Park

The robbery occurred Tuesday at 11:55 a.m., police say.

Nassau police seek the public’s help in identifying and locating a man they say held up a bank in North New Hyde Park Tuesday.

According to police, at 11:55 a.m., a man entered the TD Bank at 110 Hillside Avenue and presented a demand note to a teller. After obtaining an undetermined amount of cash, the man fled the scene on foot heading east onto Hillside Avenue.

The man is described as in his mid 20s, 6 feet tall, of thin build, wearing blue hospital scrubs and an afro-style wig, police said.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
