A Roslyn resident, along with a man from Queens, helped steal thousands of dollars of goods from the Syosset Home Depot where he worked, authorities said.

Nassau police say the Home Depot employee, Roneil Harisaran, 44, helped Praimchand Seecharan, 46, leave the store with unpaid items in a scheme that ran from May to July.

After receiving $500 from Seecharan, Harisaran, while working at the register at the store’s “Special Services” area, deliberately did not ring up select items brought to the checkout by Seecharan, detectives said.

An internal store investigation revealed that the incidents totaled in excess of $4,000. On Aug. 2, Harisaran was arrested by detectives at the store, police said. Charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records, he was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Aug. 30, according to police.
